About this tool

Enter a domain to look up one or more DNS record types. Pick specific types or leave the selection empty to check the common ones (A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA, CAA) in one go. The look-up only sends the domain name and record type to Cloudflareโ€™s DNS service.

๐Ÿ”’ Your input stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some record types show "No record of this type"?

A domain usually only has records for the types it actually uses. A domain without its own mail server, for example, has no MX record. That is normal, not an error.

How is this different from dig or nslookup?

It queries the same DNS system, but runs in your browser over DNS-over-HTTPS instead of a terminal command, and shows several record types at once.
